Plain language, not legal boilerplate. Atlas proposes, you approve, nothing is sent or shared without you: the same standard everywhere else in the product.

What Atlas stores

The business card photos you capture, so Atlas can read them and you can refer back later. Voice recordings, held temporarily to produce a transcript, deleted automatically once you approve it unless you choose to keep the audio. The notes you type or say about a relationship. If you teach Atlas your writing style, a handful of your own past emails that you paste in yourself: Atlas never connects to or reads your actual mailbox. And research Atlas proposes from a company’s own public website plus recent public news and press coverage about the company and the person — public information only, and you can turn research off any time. Every finding is cited and dated, and nothing joins a relationship’s record until you approve it.

What Atlas never does

Never sends an email on your behalf: every follow-up is a draft you copy and send yourself. Never trains any model on your data. Never shares your data with any other Atlas account: every account is fully isolated, by account, not by feature. Never connects to or reads an inbox you haven’t explicitly pasted content from.

Your control

Anything Atlas proposes, research, follow-up drafts, CRM updates, sits pending until you approve or reject it. Nothing is added to a relationship’s record on its own. Voice audio is deleted automatically once you approve its transcript. Notes, style examples, and everything you’ve captured can be reviewed, corrected, or removed from inside the app at any time.

Where this lives

Data is stored in a hosted Postgres database with row-level security enforced at the database layer: every account can only ever read or write its own data, by construction, not just by convention. Sign-in is a one-time code emailed to you; there is no password to leak.
